The client that actually runs faster.
Ember is a Minecraft client for 1.8.9 and 1.7.10. We measured it: about 21× the FPS of stock Minecraft on the same machine, with the PvP mods you already use and cosmetics everyone on Ember can see.

We didn't guess the FPS. We benchmarked it.
A fixed world, a fixed camera, thirty seconds of sampling. Same PC, three runs: Minecraft as it ships, Minecraft with every limit removed, and Ember. You can run the exact same test on your own machine.
- A HUD that doesn't cost frames. It's drawn 60 times a second to a texture, not on every single frame.
- No pointless GPU round-trips. We skip the error checks that make your CPU wait for the graphics card.
- No OptiFine needed. Our own optimizations, applied on first launch, all reversible from the menu.
The mods you'd install anyway, already in.
Keystrokes, CPS, reach, combo, armor, potions, zoom, toggle sprint, a custom crosshair. Drag them anywhere, resize them, turn off what you don't want.
- One menu. Right Shift opens everything — mods, cosmetics, performance, settings.
- Drag-and-drop HUD editor with snapping, scroll-to-resize and per-mod colors.
- Server-friendly. Nothing that gives you an unfair edge. No minimaps showing players, no auto-anything.
Capes that move. Wings that flap.
Real 3D models with hand-drawn, high-resolution textures — and anyone on Ember sees exactly what you see.
One window for everything outside the game.
